This patch replaces use of su in init (boot) scripts with runuser when the latter is available. This fixes the issue with the boot process stopping up when starting the Open iT Logger daemon and the Open iT Server daemon on systems where SELinux is enabled. SELinux is fully integrated in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Fedora Core 3 and Fedora Core 4. It is partly integrated in various other distributions.
Unpack tar file in e.g /tmp/patch on the Open iT client. Do the following as root: cd /tmp/patch ./patch.pl
