Description

A bug in the primetime handling of certain applications, such as Windows
AppUsage, WinSAR and Recorder, caused the primetime period to be 1 hour
shorter than intended.

Patch 1040 — Improved data collection for Windows Application Usage

The data collection of Windows Application Usage has been improved.
In some cases, records with UNKNOWN application would be logged, where
the duration was more than just a second or two. (Those very short records
represent usage that is too short for AppUsage to be able to obtain the
required application information.) In the cases where the duration exceeds
just a few seconds, AppUsage now have a backup system for obtaining the
application information.
Notice that this problem only occured in some special cases, for most
users, this should not be a problem.

Installation

Unpack the zip file anywhere on the machine to patch. Run the InstallPatch.exe application. Once the patch has been installed, you may delete the unpacked patch directory. NOTE: The patch must be installed by a user with administrator rights.
