This update changes the test the check_deamon job does from using the simple PING protocol to using the internal CRON table when testing if daemons are running. In addition to a valid protocol exchange the server or client is also verified to have at least one valid cron entry present.
Unpack tar file in e.g /tmp/patch on the Open iT host. Do the following as root: cd /tmp/patch ./patch.pl
