Description

This patch improves handling of exotic values in the FlexNet display field.
In this case we escape the ]]> value which is the XML end marker for
CDATA.

The patch also includes updates from several older patches.

Patch 697 — Fix problem with illegal characters in FlexNet display field

This patch removes any non-printable ascii characters included in
the display field from lmstat output (from FlexNet manager).

Some characters would break parsing of the XML output data and
LicenseMonitor would not work.

Patch 678 — Fix escape of special characters in XML attributes

Convertion to XML failed to handle special characters like
quotes if these where included in feature names. This would
make the XML output invalid (and break LicenseMonitor view)

This patch adds correct conversion to proper XML encoding (" etc).

Patch 668 — Update license status back-end

Updates license monitor / license status back-end with latest bugfixes
and updates.

Increment of previous patch. Included 5.5.2.1 in the valid for.

Installation

Unpack tar file in e.g /tmp/patch on the Open iT host. Do the following as root:

	cd /tmp/patch
	./patch.pl
